Albury Central plays an important role as a representative body for the large number of businesses operating in the heart of Albury’s CBD.

Our promotional activities are designed to bring people into the Albury CBD to shop, eat out, attend appointments and utilise professional services.

We offer a jam packed calendar of events for both our CBD traders and shoppers alike.

If Albury needed to be defined by a single word, it would most likely be 'balanced'.

From long, warm summers and mellow autumns to crisp winters and colourful springs, there are so many ways for you to revel in our sensational lifestyle on the Murray, including the recreational pursuits of Lake Hume, day trips to the Victorian Alps, and short drives to award-winning wineries or quaint historic townships.

The Wood fired Oven is fired every second Sunday and is available for free community use.
The oven is available for baking 11am to 4pm from April to September and 3pm to 8pm from October to March.
The oven is lit the night before bake day. On the morning of bake day, the oven co-Ordinator clears out the ash and prepares the oven for pizzas,bread and other goodies.The temperature of the oven drops slowly during the day.
The Wood Fired Oven has an undercover area and a playground - everything you need for a great day out and its conveniently located in Hovell Tree Park near Albury Swim Centre. For details on these events go to www.alburycity.nsw.gov.au

Brady's Railway Hotel,is a great place to visit either for a relaxing glass of wine or a cold beer.
The Railway Hotel has one of the best steaks in Albury, we know we have tried them. Their menu is very extensive and offers a variety of food. Their standing special for a $10 rump steak is a favorite meal for many of our guests.

It is a great time of year to get outdoors and take advantage of the great bike paths we have in the region.
The VIC has four adult mountain bikes for hire. If yur guests are looking for something to do outdoors,please give us a call and we can chech to see if the bikes are available.
The bikes come with a helment, pump and tyre repair kit.
We can also supply vistors with the Wodonga, Albury and North East ride guides and suggest routes and attractions along the way. Hire prices are:

The Hume Dam is 16km east of albury. built between the end of World War 1 and 1936.Spanned by Bethangra Bridge Lake Hume isused for swimming,sailing,water skiing etc. Their are picnic, barbecue and children's play facilities, a spectacular dam wall,boatramps,stores camping and a holiday resort.
